We with my black treasures on the BIS podium again!
We came back home with nice results from 2 prestigious shows: Sighthound Specialty and Central European Sighthound Show in marvelous park Swierklaniec in Poland, 31.08-01.09.2024
We had good luck in the BIS rings with stable results both days winning Best Couple (out of 2) and Best Kennel (out of 3) in the breed and:

Well, after the bright show weekend on 3CACIB+3CAC in Turkey 13-14.07.2024 we have 2 new Champions and one International Champion!

Zeus continues his show career in Ireland
In distant Ireland, our graduate Zeus Sunnymoon Place continues his bright show career.
On the weekend of July 14, 2024, he became the Best in Breed and took an honorable third place in the X Group of Sighthounds!

And we have another new Junior Champion of Ukraine in our kennel:
Sobresalto Sex On The Beach is our irresistible Sexy who won 3xBOB, 3xBIG-1 and res.JUNIOR BEST IN SHOW at three shows in two weekends!
Congratulations to the breeders Arnaldo Cotugno and Annalisa Rovani. This cute girl did not leave the judges or the audience indifferent and already has her own little fan club.

Two new champions!
The national dog show in Bila Tserkva brought us great results:
Desire Kopos Namai - successfully completed his first title of Junior Champion of Ukraine by winning Best Of Breed and Res.Best In Group! This young lad was just starting to grow up. We are pleased with his general type, movements, temperament and ideal size.
Olympia Sunnymoon Place - debuted in junior class with R.JCAC, JCAC, BOS. She is the result of friendship and cooperation in breeding, which I greatly appreciate and consider most important for the preservation and improvement of the breed.
And last but not least - our dear veteran Dallas Sunnymoon Place (10 years old) closed his title of Veteran Champion of Ukraine by winning 2x Res.BEST IN SHOW Veteran!!! Despite the hot weather, Dallas was at its best! My little star is still the alpha in our family!

We had one more debutant on the national show Polissya-2024 in Zhytomyr, Ukraine. But a very special debutant with huge experience in shows:
Dallas Sunnymoon Place - (10 years) debuted in veteran class and got BOB Veteran, many plesant words from the judge Olga Goncharuk and applause from the audience outside the ring.
After many years of living peaceful family life, Dallas entered the ring without any training and as usually did his job very confidently.
Sexy is Group Winner in Zhytomyr!
We are happy with successful debut of our Sexy in intermedia class on national show Polissya-2024 in Zhytomyr, Ukraine.

We spend a very pleasant weekend in Moldova participating in 3xCACIB shows
”Golden Spring Cup of Moldova”.
All of our Italian Greyhounds have great results and we are going home with 5 CHAMPIONS, but at first I want to share the results of our special dogs. I believe they deserve a separate post.
Two of my dearest veterans after a long break first time participated in dog shows:
Emerald Sunnymoon Place (10 years) - Veteran CACIB, Best Veteran and
BEST IN SHOW VETERAN in the first day. He became Moldovan Veteran Champion!
Zabava Znaty Hector (9 years) - 2xVeteran CACIB, 2xBest Veteran, BOB and
BEST IN SHOW VETERAN

All judges praised my boys' excellent physical shape, breed type, and temperament. It was especially pleasing to receive BOB and BIG-2 under respectable judge Paul Stanton (Sweden) for our always-happy boy Zabava Znaty Hector.

Zeus won Celtic Winner 2024 in Ireland
We are proud of our graduate who lives in the "Crystalclear" kennel in Ireland.
Last weekend, Zeus Sunnymoon Place won CACIB, BOB, and Celtic Winner 2024 at the prestigious Irish Kennel Club's annual show. Zeus added this title to the Junior Celtic Winner 2023 title he won last year.
Keep it up, golden boy! And congratulations to the owners of Margaret Corr and Paul Wiltshire!
Preston won Pan American Championship
Happy news from our boy Preston living in Brazil in the "Triunfal" kennel.
Preston Sunnymoon Place won BOB on the prestigious Pan American Championship, receiving top marks under the breed specialist - judge Tiago Vaz who is a breeder of Italian Greyhounds.

4 new Champions and Honney rocks the rings in Moldova
Exceptional results at the International Dog Show in Orhei, Moldova (3xCACIB and 2xCAC).
The star of the show was our young girl, it was the second show in her life after Budapest.
Honney Sunnymoon Place (participated in 3 shows) - 3xJCAC, 3xJCACIB, 3xBOB, 3xBEST IN GROUP and BEST IN SHOW JUNIOR-2, BEST IN SHOW-3!!!
Honney is now JUNIOR CHAMPION OF MOLDOVA.
Melody Sunnymoon Place (participated in 3 shows) - 3xCAC, CACIB, and became CHAMPION OF MOLDOVA.
Wilea Sunnymoon Place (participated in 3 shows) - 2 months after her puppies birth she got 3xCAC, CACIB, BOB and became CHAMPION OF MOLDOVA.
Bonnie Sunnymoon Place (participated in 3 shows)- 3xCAC, CACIB, BOB and became CHAMPION OF MOLDOVA.
Our girls' team did very well. I’m very proud of them all and very grateful to respectable judges Petru Muntean (RO), Mile Aleksoski (MK), and Serghei Volynets (MD) for their high estimations.

It was the second show in her life. First was her bright debut on EDS where she became Junior European Winner. And now after 2 years and 2 litters, in the same place, she became Hungarian Champion. This girl has an amazing personality.

Got the title of HUNGARIAN JUNIOR CHAMPION.
It was her very first show and I’m glad she coped with her shyness on the first day and was even too cheerful on the 4th day.

New beginning
After 10 years of prosperous collaboration at Sunnymoon Place Italian Greyhounds kennel, we with Milena have decided to go our separate ways. This decision reflects the individual aspirations and personal growth of the kennel's co-owners, each pursuing a bit different views and goals within the Italian Greyhound breeding.
Continuing the legacy of excellence I helped to establish at Sunnymoon Place kennel, I now launching my kennel named “From Emerald Galaxy” which will include all dogs living in my house and with my friends.
My background, experience, deep understanding of genetics and breeding practices, and also unwavering passion for Italian Greyhounds I will now embody in “From Emerald Galaxy” kennel.
Careful selection of breeding stock, collaboration with best breeders around the world, well-planned matings, and meticulous attention to health will continue to be the cornerstones of my breeding program.
