Sobresalto Sex On The Beach

For many years, visiting dog shows with our Italian Greyhounds, I always looked at other greyhounds. In my opinion - all Sighthounds are beautiful, no group combines such grace and refinement and at the same time such strength and agility as the X group of Sighthounds! Greyhounds, Whippets, and Saluki caught my eye most often.

The desire to have a whippet first arose in me after visiting the Exhibition of Central European Sighthound Show, which was held in Poland in 2019. A large number of Sighthounds gathered at that prestigious exhibition. I remember how I froze for more than 2 hours near the whippets' ring. I have never met such many beautiful breed representatives before, and I will forever remember the unsurpassed winner - Sobresalto Latte Macchiato.

After that, for many years I patiently pondered, doubted, and looked closely at different types and lines in the breed. There are enough good whippets in Europe, but my attention always returned to the Sobresalto kennel. Their dogs are always a balance of correct proportions, elegance, and strength of Sighthounds. ​

 

The International Exhibition in Hungary in 2022 was fateful in making the decision for me. There I met Arnaldo for the first time, he was judging Sighthounds and I was impressed by his openness and friendliness. He talked about our breed with great pleasure and answered all the questions. When I got home, I texted him asking about a whippet puppy. ​

 

In April 2023, I happily flew to Italy for my dream.

Currently, Sexy is just starting her show career, and we are getting used to handling a new breed for us, but we already have good results: ​
